Planning Meeting
Wednesday, April 22 the Spring Planning Meeting for the Home Demonstration Clubs was held.
New countyofficers elected were: Mrs. Ed Nicholson^ Chairman; Mrs. Jade Weaver,- ViceChairman and Mrs. Walter Saunders, . Secretary and Treasurer.
Mrs. D. D. Miller rfnd Mrs. Wallace C.ritzer were named on the committee to plan for the Senior Tea to be held in May.
The vice presidents of the clubs compose the committee that will revise and award the H. D. Banner to the most outstanding club.
A tour is being planned for a , days trip to Washington, D. C. in early summer. This will be for H. D. Club members and friends.
Revival At Beech Spring
The meeting at the Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville is now in progress with the well known evangelist E. Wayne Thompson as the guest speaker. Services begin each night at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will last through May 13.
