Under present policies, -there seems no .end to theE increase in Government holding of agricultural commodities, or in the huge' and increasing annual cost of storing and managing these stocks. The Dept, of Agriculture predicts that the value of such products in federal hands on June 30 will be $6.8 billion.a 20 per cent increase in one year. The figure may reach $9 billion by June 30, 1960, according to the Department.
