At the Northern District 4-lH Sheep Shearing Contest held Friday the 24th at the Remount Station outside of Front Royal, Rappahannock County placed second to Loudoun County’s entry in the contest. Randall Updike, son |of Mr. and Mrs. John Updike iof Washington, scored 90.6 points out of a possible 100 points which was just 2.2 points between he and the first place “shearer”.
