4-JF Club members and one FFA member were- put through die “paces” over a constructed course. Jimmy Dodson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Dodson of SperryviUe, finished in first place and received a certificate for 10 gallons of gasoline and* five quarts of oil. The following boys pompleted the course and received these prizes: 2nd Jonas Jenkins, grease gun and anti-freeze; 3rd Lindy Atkins, 5 qts. oil; 4th Charles Dodson, 5 qts, oil; 5th Nejtus Dodson, 5 gal. gas can. j

Mrs. Eliza Roberts Wood of Flint Hill, Va. died Wednesday morning, May 6, at a Culpeper nursing home. Mrs. Wood was bom at “Greenwood”, Washington, Via., the daughter of the late Brereton Jones Wood and Nellie Dafvis Roberts' Wood. She was married to the late Charles Russell Wood April 26, 1899.
Mrs. Wood is survived by one daughter Miss Ruth Stevens of Flint Hill a sister, Mrs. Robert Edward Millet of Culpeper; two nephews, B. J. Wood of Flint Hill and Newport News, Va. and C. B. Wood of Blacksburg, Va.; o:.s niece, Mrs. Oliver Smith, North Garden, Va.; three great nephews and five great nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from Flint Hill Baptist Church. Rev. John Divers will officiate. Interment will be in the Washington, Virginia Masonic Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
