Most stomach worms in sheep are also controlled by phenothfaizine. Tape worm is the only external parasite visible by naked eye.
In preparing and giving drenches to sheep follow directions of the manufacturer. Drench each sheep individually three times a year: in Nevember, March and before turning on grass. Make one of these drenches, Phenothiazine with lead or CuNic, or P.N.B. Don't use Phenothiazine with lead or P.N.B. over once a year. Keep Phenothiazine — Salt (9 parts salt, 1 part ’ PTZ) available to sheep during summer. CuNic is the name given copper sulphate (bluestone) aand nicotine. If you prepare your own, be sure you use the correct proportions and DO NOT USE BLACKLEAF 40 ag a source of nicotine. The present formulation of Black Leaf 40 contains a spreading agent to increase its effectiveness as an insect spray. The spreader is poisonous to sheep.
P.N.B. is the trade name given a mixture containing Phenothiazine Nicotine and Bluestone.

Piperazine should be used according to the directions on the container. It seems to be just as effective as sodium fluoride and doesn’t set the pigs back quite as much and is not any more expensive. It is available locally.
