In taming to the Scriptures we find in the creation story that God Himself is pictured as a worker. Man was created and placed in the Garden of iBden with die responsibility of caring for the garden. He was made to “have domination over he fish of he sea, and over the*foul of the air, over die cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing thlat creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26) Such responsibility involves work.
In Exodus 20 .-9 we read “Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work.” The seventh day was to be set aside for the dedication of the work which maro was doing; to honor the Lord through man’s work.
