New H. D. Club

Thursday, April 30, a group of interestted ladies from Washington and Amissville met at the. Court House to form a new Home Demonstration club. Officers for the group are: Mrs. D. D. Miller, President; Mrs. L. B. Stuart, VPresident; Mrs. Stanish Riley, Fee ret a ry-T reasu rer.
Mrs. Stuart and Mrs. Frank Walters were asked to select a name for the newly formed group.
The third Thursday was selected as a regular meeting date and the club will alternate the meeting place between Washington and Amissville. Any interested persons are invited to attend the next meeting to be held May 21 at the fire hall in Amissville at 2 p.m.
Those attending the meeting were: Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. Floyd Compton, Mrs. L. B. Stuart, Mrs. Katherine Riley, Mrs. Frank Walter, Mrs. Will Walter i.i.J Miss Ruby Jenifins.
