Castleton
The Castleton Home Demonstration Club was organized in October 1949. Charter members of this club were Mrs. Alice Dennis, Mrs. Lena Woodward, Mrs. Nena Cannon, Mrs. Bert Scott, Miss Elsie Courtney, Mrs. Mary Wayland, Mrs. Mamie Leake and Miss Ida Browning.
Officers of the club now arc: President, Mrs. Lena Woodward; V-Prsiident. Mr', (jladys Oore; Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. Daniel Noce. .Some of the community projects the club has had are: Community picnics for families and friends and sending fruit to shut-ias.
There are 12 members at the present time in the club.
