year. During the six years the club has been active, various phases of homemaking have becn studied, with special emphasis 01 the artistic and cultural aspects of family life. One outstanding phase of study included the dr; wing of a landscaping plan of each member’s lawn and garden are* with the help of a specialist from V.P.I.
Other projects for Istudy have included sewing classes for beginners .and the current study of' flower growing and arranging.
The club members ndividuallv and as a group, have conducted summer projects for the 4-H club.
They also manage ithe food booth for the Sperryvillje Firemen’s Carnival each year, recruiting local volunteers to assist thefn.
