Lions Club Sweeping
County With Brooms
The Rappahannock Lions Club is making a clean sweep throughout Rappahannock County with their annual broom sale. They have a light, medium and heavy broom for you to choose from. Anyone wishing to purdhase a broom contact any member of the Lions Club if they have not contacted you.
A house to house canvass is being made over the county. Paul Nichols and Guy Lillard canvassed Chester Gap on November 14 and Sperryville and Woodville may expect a visit from the Lions November 20 starting at 7 p.m. Washington and Flint Hill will be visited November 24 and Amissville will be canvassed November 27 beginning at 7 p.m. All proceeds from the sale of brooms will go to the Eye Sight and Conservation Program.

Cross Chapter Holds
First Meeting
The Planning Committee of the Fauquier Chapter of the American Red Cross met November 6, 1959 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapter rooms in Warrentoii. Present were Mrs. Fredrisk Wachtmeister, Mrs. J. L. B. Bentley, Mr. Harry F. Gray, Rev. John _ Divers, Comdr. Irvin O. Wolf, Mr. L. T. Saunders, and Mrs. J. M. Hibbard.
