Prices still have more advance in prospect » hang on if you can. Short term storage should be profitable for you this year_but only if you have good beans. Watch the moisture content and if your beans are over the 14 per cent level, it’s best not to risk storage.
Harvest in Virginia is about 40 per cent complete. Virginia crop prospects November 1 were two per cent under a month earlier and six per cent below 1958. The world crop is running five percent less than last year, according to latest estimates. However, some competition may be expected this year from cottonseed oil and meaL .especially for feed purposes. So indications are that this will have a tendency' to steady the market
In Richmond last week soybeans were $2.0 7a bushel; $2.12 in Petersburg; $2.15 to $2.22 in Norfolk; $2.09 to $2.10 in the North- , errt Neck area; $2.23 to $2.25 in Baltimore and $2.23 to $2.24 in Chicago.

The price of com has started back up and should continue to ease up seasonally. And the price should get pretty close to last years although not likely to exceed last year. '
