A very active Auxiliary aids the fire company with a membership of 49. The Auxiliary this year organized a uniformed marching unit the only one in the county.

The Flint Hill Fire Company, organized in 1954, has sixty members. Their equipment consists of a' fire engine and a water tank truck. A new ambulance was purchased this year. The company has built a fire house on land given to them by Mrs. Roberta M. Spalding and they acquired additional land for a carnival ground.
