And Ellis Sojtith I The Rappahannock County Sears Pig Chain is sponsored in Rappahannock Countyj by the Sears Roebuck Foundation. The County Agent picks five boys of the county and givp them each a pig to raise.
In the Forest Grov|e section the following boys were s dected: Ellis Smith, Larry and Burry Jolliffe, Roy and Jimmy Weaikley, Robert Grigsby and Floyd Utz.
When the pigs were given to us they were 60 days old purebred Yorkshire, raise them and breed When they have a fitter of pigs we have to give one |iig back and we keep the rest. Then they give some other boys in another section of the county a pig start the same way w«

There are 26 girls in our dub. The gir.lsl are working
on sewing as a project. We have made a needle case, pin cushion and towel and are working on a scarf. The boys are studying electricity. One thing theV worked on was a vacuum cleaner. Our club meets at 2 p.m, on thi third Tuesday of each month. . . Our adult leaders *re Mrs. Billy Kilby and Mrs. Harriett Stokes.
