Teachers Exams To
Be Given
.The State Department of Education has announced that examinations for the thirteen books on the Recommended Reading List for Teachers have been prepared by the department and the examinations will be given on these books by the Superintendent of Schools office on April 8, 1961.
Certification regulations permit teachers to renew or revive their certificates by passing examinations on three books selected from the Recommended Reading List for Teachers. The teacher must consult with the division superintendent in selecting books on which to be examined.
Any teacher or teachers interested in taking this examination should contact Mr. James W. Eavey, Director of Instruction for Warren and Rappahannock Public Schools, on or before March 10. Teachers may contact Mr. Eavey by calling Melrose 5-2171.
