Garnett Mercer Gore of Alexandria died February 13 at Arlington Hospital after a lingering illness.
A native of Rappahannock, he made his home in Alexandria for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Maude Lee Gore, a former teacher in Fauquier; his mother, Mrs. C. F. Gore of Culpeper; four brothers, Edward Gore of .Indian Head, Md., Richard, Earl and 'Ennis Gore of Rappahannock County and three sisters, Mrs. Nina Compton, Manassas, Mrs. Della Mario, Washington and Mrs. Marie Utz, Rappahannock.
Services were conducted February 16 in Alexandria by Rev. J. A. Fox and Rev. Ryland Dodge. Interment was in Marshall CemeWe
