Mrs. Lillie Weakley
Mrs. Lillie Daisy Weakley of Etlan, died Monday, February 27 at her home after a long illness. She was 78 years of age and a native of Madison County.
Mrs. Weakley was a daughter of William Corbin and Margaret Richards. She was a member of the Etlan Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Newton Weakley; five sons, Irvin D. Weakley, and Madison W. Weakley of Etlan, Roy J. Weakley Beaumont, Va., Delma E. Weakley and Shirley A. Weakley of Charlottesville; eight daughters, Mrs. James E. Gordon and Mrs. James S. Call both of Etlan, Mrs. Dewey C. Yowell and Mrs. Emmett C. Chambers both of Gordonsville, Mrs. William H. Miller, Barboursville, Mrs. Nellie Jenkins, Rochelle, Mrs. Edward L. Marsh Madison Milk and Mrs. Robert Dodson of Madison; 41 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; andi one sister Mrs. Ashby Smith of Syria.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 from Etlan Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Easton and Rev.
