CORRECTION
•H. B. Winfrey and the Rappahannock News would like to correct the statement made last week which said this year was the first year a Rappahannock boys basketball team had won a district tournament.
Speaking only of the consolidated county high school, the statement was correct. However in 1935 or 36 the boys team of Washington High Schhool won the district championship, losing only 2 games that year, both to Edinburg who also defeated them in the regional play off at Charlottesville.
Since there .are no school records available of by gone years, it is impossible to know of these things.
