I Smoot, his foreman, power saws have already blazed a trail up the mountainside and bulldozers have cleared out the stumps and debris. The intermediate run is complete after being hand raked and seeded with rye grass and fescue. The novice and instruction area is clear and the lake is now under construction. j

A ski school, headed by £. P. Anderson of Washington, D. C. and staffed with certified instructors, will be conducted.
'rhe future envisions another trail from the top to the base of the mountain with a 4,500 foot run and a drop of 1,000 feet, and the construction of a lodge. -
Fund Campaign For
Boy Scout District
During die first week in October a doof to door canvass will be made for fiends for the‘Shenandoah District Boy Scouts of America, Rappahannock County is in this district.
The Sperryville Fire Company is conducting the canvas in that village; the Rappahannock Rescue will head the drive in the Washington area; and Randolph Foster has the chairmanship in the Flint Hill vicinity.
There are three Boy Scout Troops in the county. !
