The regular meeting of Chi Sigma was held Sunday evening at the Washington Baptist Church with forty members present] The program consisted of a discussion, “Why Do We Meet.” j Business of the meeting was the printing of membetship cards.
Rev. Warren Wilbur explained the Greek name Chi Sigma came from the first and last letters in the Greek spelling of Christ]. Refreshments were served after which all assembled in the auditorium to sing hymns. The meeting this coming Sunday will be held at Flint F^ill in the fire hall at 7:15 p.m.

At Woodville Church
The young people of Woodville Baptist Church met at the parsonage Sunday evening for the organization of a B. T. U.. Fun and Fellowship Program for the fall and winter. Each one attending was challenged to bring another one with them to the next theeting. Officers were elected and they are: President, Barney Pauze; VPresident, John O’Bannon; .Secretary, Shirley Dodson; Treasurer, Robert O’Bannon. The evening's program consisted of a devotional by the pastor, Rev. B. G. Titchenell, group singing and games. A good time was had by all attending.
