Amos Clarke qf Washington was badly injured ' Sunday afternoon when he was struck by an automobile a6 he crossed the highway in front of Hampton Inn and Skyline Restaurant on Route 211 south of Washington, Va.
Gerald Lewis of Shelby, 'Ohio struck Clarke, who apparently did not see the oncoming vehicle and he was crossing from one restaurant to the other. Rappahannock Rescue Squad took the injured man to Warren Memorial Hospital with a broken left leg and a head injury.
