At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Front Royal-Warren - Rappahannock Tuberculosis Association on September 19, 1961 in Front Royal, Va., it was unanimously voted to accept the offer of the Clarke County TB Association to form a combined area association.
The Directors chose the name of Warren-Rappahannock-Clarke TB Association, with headquarters in Front Royal at 8 East Jaskson St, retaining Mrs. Gladys Lewis as Executive Director.
The Administrative Policies and Person::?’ Practices Committee reported that a minimum of four days per week would be nec-ssary for the executive director to coordinate the combined area, in carrying out a year-round program of prevention, case detection, education and Christmas Seal campaign.
