October 8-14 National FLe Prevention Week has been set for October 8-14 and in Virginia farmers and rural residents are urjed to check fS;e hazards. Farm fire losses last year were estimated at $165,000,000 by the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Loss of life from farm fires waes estimated at about 850.
