Captain William M. Wiener of Flint Hill has accepted the assignment of Civil Defense Acting Coordinator for Rappahannock County. A county meeting of those of the various departments assisting Capt. Wiener will be held later this month. The first big job cotv fronting the county is to locate storage space for stock piling food and water and also to list any existing structures that may be suitable for shelters for at least 50 persons.
Capt. Wiener and Director E. M. Jones solicit the cooperation of all Rappahannock County citizens in the development of public shelters and storage space.
