Mrs. Alice Dennis
Mrs. Alice Viola Dennis of Slate Mills died January 3, 1962 at her residence. She was 64.
Mrs. Dennis was a native of Thurmont, Md., a daughter of Thomas Nelson Zombro and Cora B. Flohe.
Surviving are her husband, Rev. William B. Dennis; her mother, Mrs. Cora B. Zombro, Baltimore, Md.; four sons, W. B. Dennis, Jr., Birmingham, Mich.; Thomas Jackson Dennis, Alexandria; Warren E. Dennis, Falls Church; Richard C. Dennis, Culpeper; five daughters, Mrs. Guthrie J. Beddingfield and Mrs. Cecil R. Lewis, Alexandria, Mrs. Vernon D. Henderson, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Harvey T. Smoot, Wyoming, Del.; and Mrs. R. W. Payne, Culpeper.
Also' surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C. M. Snyder of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Dorothy Williamson, Hagerstown, Md.; three brothers, George Zombro, Yakiama, Wash.; Ryston Zombro, Newport News and John F. Zombro, Baltimore, Md.
Funeral service was held from Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church at 2 p. m. Ffiday, January 5 with Rev. C. C. Kortz, Rev. Park Dickerson and Rev. Floyd Binns officiating.
Active pallbearers were Thomas Williams, Charles Zombro, Harry Spicer, Daniel Jacobs, Charles Cannon, A. F. Cannon, John Zombno, Jr. and James Zombro.
Interment was in Fafrview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of service.
