A squirrel hunter was peppered with number 5 shot when another hunter mistook his movements in the brush for a squirrel. A deer hunter wounded another deer hunter in the thigh with buck shot when victim was caught in the line of fire as the shooter fired at a' deer. Carrying a loaded weapon in an automobile resulted in the loss of two fingers for one Virginia hunter when the gun discharged.

A groundhog hunter lying on the ground was mistakingly identified as a groundhog by another hunter and blasted in the shoulder and chest with a high-powered rifle bullet. A crow hunter was wounded in the foot when a high powered rifle he carried discharged accidentally.

Birth Announced

Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham of Red Hill Farm Amissville, announce the birth of a daughter, Marion Massie, born December 30 in Warren Memorial Hospital. This is their third child.

Grandparents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr. of Washington, Va. and Mrs. Fannie Eastham, Flint Hill.
