Dedication Sunday
At Trinity Church
On Sunday, July 15th, Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va., will dedicate a silver alms basin in memory of Daysie Fox Partlow. Mrs. Partlow’s friends and relatives selected this as a memorial instead of sending funeral flowers so that she might be remembered in a permanent way which would also add beauty to the worship Vrvice.
The basin is sterling silver, measures 15 inches in diameter with a depth of 2-3/8 inches. On the outer edge is inscribed “To do good and to distribute forget not.” Hebrew 13:16. The center has an engraving and a removable mat. On the reverse side is inscribed “In Memory of Daysie Fox Partlow 1961,”
Mrs. Partlow was an active member of Trinity as long as she lived in this community. She was the sister of Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Washington, Va.
