lhe marriage of Miss Kuby Jean Brooke, daughter of Mrs. I. J. Brooke and the late M r. Brooke of Slate Mills, and George Bynum Baber, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. tieorge B. Baber of Annandale, was solemnized Saturday, June 30 at Slate Mills Baptist Churdhi. The Rev. Dewey Underwood performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with white lillies and hydrangeas knd candelabra.

Miss. Frances Ann Carter of Culpeper played the nuptial music.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Lt. Col. Norman Wilbur, wore a chapel length gown of white peau de soie, silk organza and lace fashioned with a yoke and princess bodice and sleeves coming to a point over her hands. The bouffant skirt was appliqued with lace medallions. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a tiara of seed pearls and orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white spider mums.

Miss Norma Lee Wilbur, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She
