Mr. B. G. Atwood, Manager Area Development of the Potomac Edison Company recently sent your scribe a copy of the booklet on the Industrial and Community Information o n Rappahannock County. While not complete in every detail this is an excellent public relations gesture and too, should benefit the county. It is designed for distribution to industries who get complete sets of imilar booklets of all counties in P. E.’s area.
It will not replace the need of a brochure of the county as proposed by the Rappahannock Development Committee. The brochure is intended to attract all segments of business and industry and for sure no one in another county is going to be boosting our county for us; they’ll be boosting their own and we must ours!

Better get those 4-H Camp applications in. Carty Moffett was by Saturday all excited and all set with forms completed. Carty) is a good camper and I am glad to see she is going back with us this year. Also Thomas Williams was by talking with me about his son going this year. Mrs. Cannon called too, about James attending. Looks like we will swell the facilities to capacity.

Writing of 4-iH reminds me, no word has come on there even being a prospect for an Assistant Agent. Thought sure we would have one by July 1. Hear there were two jobs awaiting for every agricultural graduate at Tech last month. Industries other than agriculture grabbed them up.
