Miss Landra Dennis will leave today for Baltimore, Md. where she will join Dr. and Mrs. Charles Luttrell and family and go to North Point Cottages at Raquet Lake, N. Y. to spend two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis will accompany Landra to Baltimore and be over night guests of Dr. and Mrs. Luttrell Thursday, returning home Friday morning.
Arthur Cobb of Richmond was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lehman. Sunday visitors were Mrs. Emma Critzer and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jones of Esmont, Mrs. Helen Breeden and children of Fairfax and Miss Christine Jones of Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Pullen had as their guests Sunday, Sgt. and Mrs. 'Ernie Crane and family of College Park, Md. Jackie Hamilton of Warrenton was a house guest last week of E. J. Pullen.
Jack Atkins spent Sunday with Thomas Atkins in Sperryville.
The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Chailit Priest suffered severe burns on his hands Saturday when he took hold of the oven door. He was given emergency treatment at Fauquier Hospital and released.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner were over night guests Saturday of friends in Richmond.
Mrs. Ronnie Poe entertained Sunday with a birthday party in honor of the 6th birthday of her son Greg.
