Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will stage its sixth annual fund-raising carnival July 18-19-20-21 at the grounds itp Sperryville, Va. Highlighting the four-night event will be country string music Wednesday; a mamouth parade Thursday; crowning of the queen Friday and awarding of prizes Saturday.
Collis Fincham and his Virginia Mountain Clan will play country music. Eddie Matherlv of Radio Station WKCW, Warrenton will also be present.
The parade Thursday, which starts at 7:00 P. M. (EDT), will have 90 units, including fire companies, majorettes, rescue squads, floats. It will be led by the 80piece Charles Town High School band. Fire companies that have accepted invitations to the parade are Fairfax. Falls Church, Annandale, Mt. Vernon, Lorton, Dunn Loring, Gurston, Franconia, Centreville, Shenandoah,McLean, Woodstock, Nokesville, The Plains, Warrenton, Marshall, Leesburg, Chantilly, Mt.
