ne v_uipeper iviemoriai nospital, in keeping with its policy of offering a broad program of medical care to the community, is now establishing a Physical Therapy Department. Miss Ruth Kelley, a trained and licensed Physical Therapist, has accepted the position as Co-ordinator of Phyj sical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital. In recent years greater emphasis has been placed on the rehabilitation of the disabled or handicapped individual through physical therapy treatment. Miss Kelly, within the past two years, has visited many of the leading Rehabilitation and Curative Work Centers in the States of California, Washington and New York. She has taken several post graduate short term courses in rehabilitation of the geriatic patient and advanced rehabilitation techniques at the University of Pennsylvania, the Institute of Physical Medicine, New York University and the Cerebral Palsy Center, Albany Medical College, New York.
The directors, medical staff and personnel of the Culpeper Memorial Hospital feel extremely fortunate to secure the professional services of Miss Kelly and look forward to the establishment of this new department. 'It .will be opened about July 23.

Lawn Party At
Chester Gap
A lawn party will be held on the carnival grounds at Chester Gap, Saturday night, July 14 beginning at 5:30 p.m. It is for the benefit of the Chester Gap Fire Company and the public is invited to attend. In case of rain it will be held in the fire hall.
