Mr. Newbill Miller spoke for the Supervisors stating that he expressed their unanimous opinion against the city tags, not from a legal standpoint but from a moral one. The county tags were levied in the first place to finance the building of the High School and for its maintenance. He cited that it would not be fair for the county people to be paying cost of the school, the town people not, yet taking advantage of the school.
