Mrs. Dabney J. Carr left) Sunday afternoon for Tallahassee, Florida, where she will attend the wedding of her sister, Miss Terrie Carol Jones, on' Thursday. Mrs. Carr will return home next Sunday.

Sam Snead o R.M.A. spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead.

Mrs. Henry M. Keyser spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. H. Magruder Keyser and family in Fairfax and Mrs. Thelma B. Clark in Falls Church.

Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller assisted by Miss Barbara Jones entertained at dinner Friday evening having as their guests Mrs. L. J. Turner, the Rev. and Mrs. Clyde Melton, Misses Aney and Laura Fleming Melton, The Rev. Warren Wilbur, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., and son, Tom Massie, Mrs. Bertie Lig Moffett and Miss Annie Cooksey. On Saturday the Millers had as a dinner guest Col. E. A. McNear of Arlington who was spending the weekend at Greenwood.

The Rt. Rev. Samuel B. Chilton was the Sunday dinner guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Dabney J. Carr.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Payne and family of Culpeper were 'Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne.

Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller and Mrs. Downing Wood visited Joe D. Keyser Sunday at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. James Massie and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., were Monday visitors in Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Williams and daughter, Margie Lee, were dinner guests Sunday of Miss Mary Bruce and Roland Updike in Culpeper.

Miss Romona Wire of Chevy Chase, Md., was at The Shade for a short time during^HJie weekend.
