Resolutions
RUTH STEVENS
WHEREAS, Ruth Stevens has served as Deputy Clerk of Rappahannock County for a period in excess of 27 years, and;
WHEREAS, Ruth Stevens has been a loyal, efficient and a devoted public servant, giving of herself when it was not to her own best interest, and; WHEREAS, Almighty God through His Divine Providence has removed Ruth Stevens froiti our midst;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County p'press its loss and the loss of the County on the death of Ruth Stevens who had been appointed as Clerk Elect of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County and Clerk of Rappahannock County and who was to assume this office on January 1, 1963;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Administrator of the estate of ^uth Stevens, a copy be printed in the Rappahannock News and a copy be spread on the Minute Book of the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County.
