Mrs. Charlie Priest presented a check toAmissvllle Fire Company from the Ladies Auxiliary in the amount of $1,000. Levi Atkins, Jr., bn behalf of the Junior Firemen, made the presentation of a $100 check to the company and The Ruritan Club of Amisaville gave the fire company a donation of $100 also. Eugene Dodson spoke for the Ruritans. Theprogram was concluded with a prayer by Rev. Hodge and all sang 'Good Night Ladies”, Dr. J. R. Boldridge, the only honorary member of the Amissville Fire Company, was unable to attend the banquet since he is hospitalized with a bone fracture. However, Doc was with them in I spirit and also ate with them, since Miss Irva Poe took his banquet plate to him at Fauquier Hospital.
