Miss Caroline Gates Turner of Lynchburg College spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. L. J. Turner. John Turner of U. of Va. was also at his home on Sunday.

Robin Duncan of Alexandria was a weekend guest of his aunt, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith and Mr. Smith at Spring House Farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Rees were Sunday visitors in Arlington. Monday luncheon guests of the Rees’ at Reescrofc were Mrs. Sidney Funkhouser and son Charles of Vienna.

Mrs. Dabney J. Carr returned Saturday from Tallahassee, Florida, after attending the wedding of her sister on Thursday.

Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett and Miss Annie Cooksey entertained at Sunday dinner at the Lee Highway Hotel in Sperryville for the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham and children, W. G., Jr., Lizzie and Marian, Mr. and .Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs Gene Wood, Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., and son, Tom, Mrs. W. M. Fletcher, Mrs. W. H. Moffett and Miss Aney Melton.

Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere returned Friday after a three weeks stay in Florida. While there they toured both coasts and visited in the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Rice Matthews of Front Royal at Venice, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Blades at Nakomis.
