In the Interest of forming a committe to explore the possibilities of furthering Production and Marketing of Home Products a meeting will be held Monday, February 25 in the Trinity Church' Parish House In Washington at 8 p.m. This project is sponsored by the Extension Service. Thedireor tion that such a committee' takes will depend on the interest shown and steps taken at this meeting. Many people have expressed a need for such an organization. With enough cooperation and stimulus it could develop into a long term economic boon of raising family income through utilizing talents and pooling ones resources for marketing.
All interested persons are cordially invited to attend this meeting.
Farm Bureau Begins
Membership Drive
Rappahannock County Farm Bureau membership drive started this week in the county, according to J. Newbill Miller, president. The Virginia Farm Bureau Federation is comoosed of local projects at present 23,000 farm families working for the benefit of farmers Among local projects at present are the telephone situation in this county and traffic safety. The National Farm Bureau is the single largest farmers organization in the U. S. Anyone wishing to join the local chapter may contact Mr. Miller or any member of the group.
