Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 20, in the Washington Baptist j Church at Washington, Va., with interment following in the Washington Masonic Cemetery. Elder Clarence Frazier conducted the last rites. Arrangements were handled by Geest Funeral Parlors.
Mrs. Annie H. Foster
Mrs. Annie Henson Foster, 86, died at her home 5112 Connecticut Avenue, Washington, D. C. February 6, 1963. Mrs. Foster, wife of the late Lee W. Foster is survived by a -daughter Mrs. Virginia F. Bentley of the home address and Ash Tree Farm, Washington, Virginia. Also three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great - great - grandchildren.
Born at Winton Farm in Armherst County she lived in Lynchburg before moving to Washington with her late husband in 1930. In addition to active participation in the missionary society of the Calvary Baptist Church throughout her tenure in Washington, she was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, Old Dominion Chapter, Lynchburg.
