Ohio Motorist Runs
Into Thornton River
Henry Blake Keifer of Warren, Ohio was not trying to drown his sorrows when he ended up in the Thorton River in Sperryville last Wednesday, February 20. Keifer was driving west on Route 211 at 5:15 P. M. in the 1963 Oldsmobile when he was blinded by the sun. He ran off the road in the mud, lost control of the vehicle and ended up in the river. There was no personal injury. Damage was estimated at $125.00 by Trooper W. A. Buntin who investigated the accident.
