The Rappahannock Races start at 12:30 p.m. with a Junior Race on the flat for small ponies 13.2 and under. The second race at 1 p.m. is a new feature for the Rappahannock race card; a Quarter Horse Race. This is the only race of the day for which an entry fee is required, in the amount of $10.00.
