Seniors

Receive Scholarships

Two V.P.I. seniors have received 4-H All-Star college scholarships presented by P. H. Killgore of the Cities Service Oil Company. The presentation of the $200.00 scholarships was made at the mid-winter AllStar International Farm Youth Exchange Program Conference held recently at Natural Bridge. Recipients are Miss Lucy Seldon of Hanover County and Glen Updijce, Rappahannock County. Miss Selden, an outstanding student, is majoring in Home Economics and has spent eleven years in 4-H Club work. Updike is a senior in Animal Husbandry and has also been active in 4-H work for eleven years. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Updike, Washington, VaHeart

Fund Drive Concluded Feb. 28th

February 28 is the last day of the 1963 Heart Drive in Rappahannock County. If you have not made your contribution to this Drive, please send it in. Mrs. Claire Pauze'' is Chairman of Stonewall District, Mrs. Paul Miller, Wakefield District and Mrs. Alice Wood* Hampton District. Chairmen were not secured for the remaining Districts and a County Chairman was not secured. However any of the district chairman will be glad to forward your contribution. Mrs. J. A. B. Dahlgren, Huntly is in the Program. L. L. Voight is in charge of Huntly drive.
