District Nine high school basketball teams closed their regular schedule last week and the tournament will be held tonight, Thursday, February 28 and Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2 in the John Mosbj Academy gymnasium, Front Royal. Game time is 7:00 P. M.
^ After Rappahannock girls defeated Marshall Friday night on the Marshall court, they were tied for first place in the district ‘‘with Warrenton. A flip of the coin Tuesday night at a meeting of coaches and principals in Warrenton, put the Patherettes on top with Warrenton as second place. There was also a tie for third place between Marshall and Nokesville. Marshall drew third with Nokesville in fourth place.
