Lovers of flowers and the flower gardens of Rappahannock County have a pleasant surprise awaiting them when the snows melt, the sun shines and the gentle breezes blow again. As they once more look over their gardens many questions will arise about what to do with this problem and how to handle that one. To help supply answers to these questions there is being set up in the new county library a flower and garden nook as a reference source. Several dozen standard flower and garden magazines have been donated and are in the library awaiting the arrival of the shelves on which to place them for easy reference. The magazines include Better Homes and Gardens, Flower Grower, Popular Gardening, Horticulture, House Beautiful, Garden Home Guide, Flower Garden, etc. The plan is being developed by members of the Rappahannock Garden Club, but the magazines are available for any flower or garden lover. It is hoped that all will feel free to use the service and that those who have current or back numbers of such magazines wilL contribute them to the library.
