Funeral services were held "February 24 at 2;00 p.m. at Flint Hill Baptist Church with interment at Washington Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Warren Wilbur conducted the services. Active bearers were Emory Russell, Wallace Russell, M. R. Bradford, Jr., Lyle Rector, William Moore and Richard Latham. Serving as honorary bearers were L. H. Luttrell, L. E. Johnson, John R. Moore, H. S. Barksdale, John S. Browning, B. J. Wood, Carson Johnson, Allen Johnson, Maurice Walker, Will Putnam, Paul Miller and Robert Clatterbuck.

Mrs. Katherine S. Mason

Mrs. Katherine Strother Mason, 86, widow of Clay Mason, died Friday, February 22, 1963, in Warren County Hospital in Front Royal after a long illness. Mrs. Mason was born in Rappahannock County, daughter of James F. Strother and Mary Botts Strother. She is survived by one sister. Miss Belle L. Strother of Salem. Also two nieces, Mrs. Mary M.
