Thursday the Hy-Wy Club led the school in assembly. Mr. Atwood, the club sponsor, gave an interesting talk on the “Tater Family.” Members of the family are Dick Tater, Spec Tater, Agi Tater, Imi Tater, Devas Tater and Ampu Tater.
Mrs. Palmer will again produce and direct the senior play, a three-act comedy entitled “Rest Assured.” Parts have been assigned and practice will begin shortly.
We wish the boys and girls all the luck in the world in the basketball tournament this week-end. Be at John Mosby gym Friday night especially to cheer the locals to victory.
The annual staff will be relieved of quite a load Friday when the 1963 Rappsody goes in the mail to the publishers. The staff has worked hard and the annual promises to be another good one.
School attendance has been low the past week or so due to flu. Highest total of absences in a day was 41.
I wish to express my appreciation to all who worked for me in the “Girl of My Dreams” contest and all who contributed to it. It is wonderful to know that I have so many very good friends. Thanks.
