Lenten Supper Slated At Trinity Church
Trinity Episcopal Church will have five suppers and discussions on Thursday nights during Lent starting March 7. The theme of the discussions will be “The Devotional Life.” The Rector plans to use both ancient and modern writing on the general subject. Members are asked to bring a favorite dish. Supper will begin at 6 p.m. and the meeting will close at 8.
R.A.D. Elects Officers
„ E. M. Jones was elected chairman of the Rappahannock Rural Area Development organization last night succeeding C. E. Johnson, Jr. who served so successfully the first year but declined a second term. Frank Louckes, recreation chairman was instructed to organize a square dance group and in addition to the regular members of his committee Mrs. Barbara Gentry, youth activity chairman and Miss Barbara Jones, Home Demonstration Agent were appointed to assist him.
