James Edwin Green wrecked this Plymouth late Saturday afternoon on Route 211 in Amissville. He lost control of the car.on a curve and careened into the left lane. The car grazed an oncoming motor scooter operated by Douglas Silvey, pinning it between the car apd a cement bridge abutment. Green’s vehicle proceeded on down the left shoulder of the road tearing down a sign. It then made a complete circle in the highway and ran through a fence to stop near the post office. Silvey, a teen-age son of Mr. and Mrs. John Silvey, jr. of Amissville. was only slightly injured. Green was charged with reckless driving by Trooper Paul Dicks. ..
