Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Gossom and children of Falls Church drove to town Thursday accompanied by George W. Brown who was returning from a visit with his nephew, Charles Lucian Brown, and family in Elkins, N.C. Mrs. Harry Smith, who has been the guest of Mrs. Perle Coffey, left Thursday with the Gossom family to return to her home in Washington, D.C. ’

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Oden of Sharpsburg, Md., spent the weekend wih her sister, Mrs. David Anderson. On Saturday Mr .and Mrs. Harry Martin of Bakerton, West Virginia, were guests in the Anderson home. Bill Anderson returned with the Martin family for a visit!'

Mrs. Maurice Manuel and son Chris of Front Royal were luncheon guests Thursday of Mrs. B. M. Varner.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Johnson were guests Sunday afternoon of their brother-inlaw and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Walter I. Henson in Front Royal. Mrs. Henson has recently returned from Amarillo, Texas, where she was called by the death of her grandson. Burton Lee Rogers.

Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily accompanied Elder and Mrs. Hollie Redmon and Mrs. A. L. Harison of Front Royal to Amelia Court House where they attended the dedication ceremonies at Little Flock Primitive Baptjjst Church. Elders Daily ancif Redmon were guest speakers. Elder and Mrs. Daily were over-night guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Anderson.

Mrs. E. T. Sawyer, her daughter, Mrs. Donald Eight and son Richard of Catonsvflje, Md., were guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman.

Elder and Mrs. Daily have been notified of the serious illness of Mrs. W. B. Barr in Martinsburg, W,Va. Elder Daily and Mrs. J. M. Durden left immediately to be with her.
