Many Exhibits !
1 Washington Elementary School students presented many varied and interesting exhibits , at a hobby show held March 21 and 22 at the school. Ronald Dodson was awarded a blue ribbon for his unique display of magnets of various sizes hnd types, along with a design created in iron filings with a magnet. Second place went to Daniel Hitt for his collection of old money, letters and newspapers, some of which dated back to the 1860*e. Betsy Williams received a white ribbon for her collec* tion of seven dolls from foreign countries. Other exhibits Included model Oars, paintings, stamp collections, rock collections and a match book collection which drew much attention.
