William A. Woodward
William Albert Woodward, 76, retired farmer of Leon, died Monday, April 1, 1963, at University Hospital, Char* lottesville, following a long illness. Funeral services are to be held at Z p. m. today, Thursday, from Thoroughfare Chapel, conducted by Rev. George W. Johnson, with burial In church cemetery in charge of Clore Funeral Home. Native of Rappahannock County, Mr. Woodward was son of the late Louis. Albert Woodward and his wife, Mollie Jane Dodson. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Fincham Woodward, and nine children as follows: MrA. Weldon Nicholson, Win. Chester; Mrs. Marvin Lillard, Brlghtwood; Mrs. Richard Nicholson and Mrs. Raymond Weakley, both of Leon; W. Moses and Rosd Woodward, Brlghtwood; Daniel and Albert Woodward Leon; and Henry Woodward, Richmond; 35 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Allen and Mrs. Wayman Dodson, Boston; Mrs. Janie Prince, Glassford, 111., and Mrs. Otis Bennett, Culpeper.
